# 6 TEST: Would the idea really work in the real world?

## 1. Why this step matters

Even the best ideas can fall flat if they don’t work for real users, in real contexts. This step is about learning—not proving.\
By testing early and lightly, you reduce risk, improve your idea, and build the evidence and confidence needed to move forward.

## 2. What this step helps you do

* Identify what to test and how to test it
* Gather feedback from users and stakeholders
* Spot weak points, surprises, or unintended consequences
* Refine your idea before investing heavily in implementation

## 3. How to approach it

Keep it simple. You don’t need a polished prototype—just something people can interact with or react to.\
Choose what’s most critical to learn, and design your test around that.\
Be open to critical feedback: what doesn’t work is just as valuable as what does.
