## Navigating this site

### Step pages

The Booster is structured around a seven-step innovation process. Each step page follows a consistent structure to help you understand the **purpose** of the step, **when and how** to apply it, and **what tools** can support you.

Each step page is designed to be clear and actionable. It includes:

| Section | What it tells you |
| ------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Why this step matters** | Explains the role and value of this step in the innovation process. Sets the right mindset. |
| **What this step helps you do** | Describes what you will achieve by working through the step. |
| **How to approach it** | Offers guidance on how to carry out the step in practice, including key considerations and mindsets. |
| **Suggested tools** | Lists relevant tools, with links and brief descriptions of what they help you produce. |

{% hint style="info" %}
**Steps are a guide, not a rule.** You may revisit earlier steps, reframe your challenge after testing, or re-engage users after ideation. That flexibility is part of the process. Understanding the overall flow helps you see where you are, where you’ve been, and where you might go next. Use the steps as a flexible guide to navigate your journey and make the most of the tools.
{% endhint %}

### Tool pages

Each tool page under the steps follows a **standard structure** to help you understand how to use it effectively.

Each tool includes the following elements:

* **Overview:** A short summary of what the tool is for.
* **Template:** A downloadable and editable format of the tool, followed by a brief case or illustration of the tool in action.
* **Context:** When and why the tool is used, and the kind of challenges it is suited to.
* **Recipe:** Step-by-step instructions on how to use the tool in a workshop or team setting.
* **Results:** What kind of outputs or insights you should expect.
* **Tips:** Practical advice for facilitators or team leads based on field experience.

## Learn by doing — and by sharing

The Booster is designed to evolve through use. You are encouraged not only to apply the tools, but to **adapt, remix, and share** your learnings with others. Your feedback helps improve the tools and the platform itself.

Start small, stay curious, and don’t be afraid to experiment. Innovation happens one step at a time — and you now have the tools to take the first one.
